Council for Aquaculture Skills in the Salmon Industry (CCA)

Decree (E) No. 193 dated March 15 2013, approved an agreement between the Education Ministry and SalmonChile A.G. to implement the Council for Aquaculture Skills in the Salmon Industry (CCA), whose main goal is the training and strengthening of the workforce in the industry.

The Council collaborates with various educational institutions including technical and vocational colleges, technical training centers and universities to ensure that the education and training given meets the real demands of the industry in the short, medium and long term. This is achieved by incentivising the institutions, students and workers.

The Council is managed by a Board of Directors, chaired by the General Manager of the Association, and comprises entrepreneurs, workers' representatives and an educational expert, and meets monthly to discuss progress and challenges.
