Salmon is low in calories, but rich in Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA), Omega-6, and proteins and minerals. It also contains high concentrations of vitamins A, B6-B3, D and K, and essential trace minerals such as selenium, zinc, potassium, iodine and phosphorus.
